Course Description: Information is given to calculate conductor size and overcurrent protection size for transformers.

Outline:

• Module One – Voltage Taps, Multi-tap transformer applications, Series-Parallel Windings, Series-Parallel Windings Circuits (Additive and Subtractive).
• Module Two – How to Size Overcurrent Protection for Transformers, Overcurrent Protection Requirements based on Article 450.3 NFAP 70, Single Phase Examples, Three Phase examples, Sizing OCPD and Conductor Size.
• Module Three – Transformer Circuits and Troubleshooting, Single phase and Three phase Systems.
